Bareship
My open-source React Native template, on npm and as a GitHub template. Bare and offline first: queued writes survive a restart, Firebase is optional, and the architecture rules fail the build when they're broken.

The challenge
A production bare React Native app needs weeks of plumbing before its first feature: offline writes, token storage, environments and release builds. Most templates leave that out, and give coding agents no rules to follow.
What I built
Offline writes
Four offline patterns. Queued writes survive a restart and replay in order.
Built for AI agents
AGENTS.md, ADRs and agent skills give coding agents the team's rules.
Ready to release
Three environments, optional Firebase, and fastlane lanes for TestFlight and Play.
Version 0.3.2, released October 2026. An app made from the npm package builds and runs on iOS and Android, and release builds pass on both.
